Anyone tested S/X CHAdeMO Adapter on Model 3

Works on Webasto (Aerovironment West Coast Electric Highway).

Nicely done with the cable slack on the ground supporting the “model” position.

Tap key obviously not working, have to use plugshare to start charging. Every interruption cost me extra $7.5 is bad.

????? "Tap Key"? I use Sisters, Redmond, Madras, Tangent and Tumwater on a regular basis (the above photo was Tillamook) and I've never had a problem with my fob. Sometimes it takes a while but it always finally registers

I think you need a RFID fob from the charging vendor, not anything to do with the card, or fob, for your car.

AFAIK, the WCEH chargers pictured can be activated with the RFID Fob if you pay for the $19.99/mo unlimited plan, Pay With PlugShare per session, or by calling the customer service number.

These are third party chargers that have nothing to do with Tesla. Like @miimura said, for WCEH you need one of their fobs or Plugshare or call. For each third company charger (EVgo, Chargepoint, greenlots) you need one of their cards.

The name change is because of Webasto to Acquire AeroVironment Electric Vehicle Charging and Test Systems Business.

I'd never heard of Webasto until the above but from Webasto: Webasto History and The Company, it seems like the name's existed for a long time, since 1908?

For each third company charger (EVgo, Chargepoint, greenlots) you need one of their cards.

In some cases (e.g. ChargePoint), you can start charging from their app and/or via NFC (w/their app installed). I recommend ChargePoint's RFID cards over screwing with an app.

For Electrify America, from Charging with us | Electrify America and FAQs | Electrify America, it looks likes they don't have RFID cards (yet). I've never used one of their DC FCs as they have none in my area yet.

At least there's a little hope with ChargePoint and EVgo Announce Roaming Agreement, Expanding Access to Charging Nationwide | ChargePoint. FAQ has one card supporting multiple networks but I don't have one.
