Anyone think the metal roof will come painted black?

Tesla use to offer a black roof option on Model S and then they did away with it.


So a body color roof sounds more than likely. Which will be ugly. Needs to be all black for the seamless windshield to roof to rear window connectivity.

And after riding in a 3 last weekend, sun glare from the glass roof is a legit concern and not something I'd enjoy. I had to keep squinting.

Really? I find the glass roof so dark I always forget it's glass and not metal.

I assume there will be no metal roof option because that is what I was planning to order.

Hey! I wanted a hatchback, but Musk seems to have a congenital fear of them. Considering how popular the hatchback is in Europe (top model in 18 of 27 countries), I am surprised that the Y will be a CUV. Europeans seem to want hatchbacks that can tow small trailers.
