Since it literally mentions a diagnostic tool, my guess is that Owners will be able to download vehicle data (Wh/mile, charging info, GPS breadcrumbs, etc) to their computer--perhaps for logging purposes. Or it could be related to the X.

Seems a little strange. With all the software people they have, writing an installer seems like a relatively small job..

Indeed, but being that that's one of the last things you might do, it's also a bit encouraging that they're at that point.

For Windows? I hope that means the diagnostics program for Linux is already available.

You don't need installers for linux, just a self extracting shell archive with the sources and a gcc MAKEFILE :biggrin:
