If it weren't for the high chance the $14K rebate was disappearing, I don't think I'd be anxious at all, and I certainly don't mind waiting another month or two in general, but $14K is a fair bit of coin to loose for what in the end might turn out to be 2-5 days. You'll get yours soon!! Count on it!
Indeed -- it could get damaged in transport, or they find a fault before delivery. It's not done until you drive away with it...That's why even with a VIN # I'm anxious, since Tesla can still pull a switcharoo on me

Got my Vin last week, I went ahead and just called their credit department yesterday and got them to start credit application instead of waiting for the link to show up on my account. Was approved within an hour.
Called again today to try to connect with my DS, was told his name Sam and that they would contact him on my behalf to get in touch with me. Still waiting for that call... They wouldn't give me his direct extension. Is there any other way to try to connect with the DS directly? I imagine they are swamped but i just want to know general delivery time so i can plan a vacation around it.
But the support person did say that once the VIN is assigned your car is basically done production.
Yep, you got that right, was the same for me.The credit approval from the US analyst should have your DS cc’ed. It’s not a phone number but at least you have one way of getting in touch.

I guess one could assume, if you haven't received a call but your Credit Application form is available, then it likely means you've been assigned a Delivery Specialist.
Assuming you are in Ontario (I didn't check), try this: https://www.omvic.on.ca/RegistrantSearch/index.aspx
My DS and at least one other are on there. It has email addresses, and other info.
I would encourage using email as it's less invasive when people are overloaded.
Omvic only listed one contact email for particular Tesla location not individual emails.
Your mileage may vary, but I can find a few of the DAs named on these threads, and some of them have details:
Aaron: https://www.omvic.on.ca/RegistrantSearch/Profile/Individual.aspx?PID=206084
Mandi: https://www.omvic.on.ca/RegistrantSearch/Profile/Individual.aspx?PID=229907
Jason: (previously elsewhere, but no details for him at Tesla): https://www.omvic.on.ca/RegistrantSearch/Profile/Individual.aspx?PID=189977&Type=Sales
Yep, that's what I said above, no details for Jason at Tesla...Sorry, no email for Jason..
Any so what? Even if getting their email, no response will be meaningless..

Of course, one cannot guarantee a response. Be careful to avoid unintentionally harassing them -- it might not help you get the result you want.
As I've mentioned before, I think I've been lucky to get 3 responses (to the 3 emails with requests that I've sent over a total of 3 weeks), but my circumstances may be different. I've also avoided pestering about dates in general, and trying to alway deal with a real matter at hand that the DA can actually help with (such as question about trade-in, etc). Hence, "your mileage may vary"...
Try to remain positive -- I'm sure they are doing the best they can with 200-300 people each pestering them every few days...they will be quite stressed by this whole thing as well, and the DAs have little influence or control over the entire process.
I agree that Tesla could do a better job on the information (I think they could literally have a "you're # in the queue for a red one"), but I don't recall much better information from another dealers/manufacturers when I last bought a car that wasn't on the lot either.I did not mean to harass anyone. It is certainly not DA/DS ‘s problem. Tesla should prepare more temp to handle the situation at this stage, not starting bunch temp at International center. Lots people here complains lack of information, and bad experience

yeah he was cc'ed. Thanks!
Try to email them to see if they response, let us know..I have bad luck on this..
