In the recent days, I had my car transported from SF Bay Area to Maryland. This morning I noticed a gap that I had not seen before on the front passenger side. Appreciate any guidance from the forum. Has someone had a similar experience - is this a manufacturing issue or possible damage in transit?

That is definitely out of the ordinary. My car was delivered with a rocker panel gap which never got fixed. They apparently tried removing and re-attaching the rocker panel to no avail. The thing is held on with clips I think...so somehow it seems like the panel on yours got knocked out? Just take it in and see if they will push it back in place for you. BTW...the image below is day 1 after my first drive from the delivery centre. :p .. gotta love Canadian winters. lol

I personally thought this was a misalignment. So you should definitely take it to the service centre.

@vraev - thanks, am taking it to the service center this week. Must have likely happened during transit as I don't recall seeing this prior.
