Anyway to use the Tesla app or the in car screen to set charge %?

Is there any way to use the app or the car screen to set the charge limit to an actual % rather then just "slide between two ranges" ?

It drives me insane that I have it set to 77% to charge when I want it to charge to 75%. When I tried to adjust it the slider moved to 74%. I need finer control over this

+1 for Stats For Tesla. This app lets you set to your preferred charge percentage and you can adjust every 5 percent. So you can set it for 80%, 85%, 90%, etc.

I fired up stats again and used that. I can’t remember why I had force closed that app before and sort of forgot about it. Might have been when I left my car at the airport for 8 days and was worried about phantom drain...

Thats likely why tesla does not show percentages. Its "energy in a battery" so I believe sometimes its going to be slightly off.

More importantly, why do you need to worry about such fine control?

Teslafi will also allow exact %. Now of the car honors it exactly, that’s the next thing. It does drift a bit after it finishes.
Do think Tesla could make the UI a little better in the battery slider.

Because 77% or 74% drives me insane when I want 75%. Likely the same insanity if I want 80% or 85% and I can’t land on those either

Do you set the volume control on your TV to multiples of 5? And always microwave food for multiples of 30 seconds?

I do actually always microwave in multiples of 5. I usually watch movies with headphones to be more immersive and those have a volume control on them without a detailed scale for feed back...
