Aodhan AFF7's on Model Y's

Thanks to @TheTheocracy, answering any questions I had! AFF7 20x10.5 +35 squared wrapped in 275/40R20 Continental DWS06 plus. Lowered on KW coiloversView attachment 847448
The fitment looks perfect in this photo. Do you have any more pictures that show the amount of poke? The offset seems pretty aggressive, but it looks like the drop from the KWs tucked the tires in nicely. Thinking about doing this same setup.

You don't NEED one. The lugs will center the wheel but it does make things easier to line up. 64.1 ID to 73.1 OD hub ring works with the Aodhan's. If you have performance model rotors then you also need to clear the exposed hub lip when using a hub ring. There's lot of info about that in the wheel threads.

I have the MYP so spacers would be recommended correct?
You have four options that I'm aware of.
1) Run no hub rings. Simple, cheap, a little harder to line up during install.
2) Use 3mm spacer with the hub ring. Works, pushes your wheel out 3mm if you care.
3) Use hub ring specifically made for P rotors. Zevcentric has some for example. I dont' like the metal ones because they get stuck, but some will say they like em.
4) Get aftermarket rotors with a thicker hat.

I had no idea what a hub ring is. That said between your description and the previous picture in this thread.. it's much easier to figure out by looking at these pictures I have posted below, back to back.

Also since you mentioned ZevCentric.. I figured it's a good idea to link directly to that exact item here for others to purchase. Looks like its $40 for all 4 rings in size 73.1 OD.. so that seems like a pretty cheap add-on to get everything to fit. Wonder if Aodhan sells their own version.. or might even include them free.. since you are purchasing the wheels from them. I'd imagine you'd also want to ask Aodhan if they sell matching color lugs (or will include them free).

Also, you mentioned you don't like metal ones because they get stuck, what other material option would have? I'm guessing these are steel or aluminum. Looks like ZevCentric recommends an anti-seize compound. Im guess you can use that inside & outside to help with preventing sticking:

*** SPECIALLY MADE FOR PERFORMANCE MODEL 3'S AND ALL TRIMS OF S / 3 / X / Y****
***(set of four)***

73.1mm OD. Make sure your wheels have a 73.1mm centerbore before purchasing.

PRO TIP:
Apply anti-seize to the outer diameter of the ring before installing in your wheels

Actually what do you think about these for non-Performance Model Y's? Seems to have everything you recommend and sold directly from Aodhan! Polycarbonate material so Im guessing they wont stick to anything! $9 each.. so $36 all around.

Looks like they also sell aluminum for twice the price.. $18 each.. $72 all around.

Also Aodhan sells black lug nuts.. in 14x1.5 pitch which should match the black wheels and factory lugs. Comes with a security socket which should make them a bit harder to steal lol. $31.50 for 20 nuts + socket.

Can you think of ANY thing else wanted or needed for these wheels to fit right on a non-P Model Y?

Thanks in advance!!

Love it! I have this on mine too, but just 19x8.5. Want to paint my calipers, but haven't gotten around to it!
Thanks! I honestly really love the way these wheels look on our cars. The blue calipers are nice but I should have gone with yellow since my plates are black and yellow. Didn't do it because my model 3 was already black and yellow. Oh the regrets 😆

That's sick, what are you lowered on?
My only question is wouldn't Advan gt premium 5x114.3 fit the Y
I heard about having to match the m14 lug holes?
Thank you for your time
I'm lowered on MPP coilovers. Wish they went a tad lower in the rears. I maxed out in the rears but fronts can go lower. I wanted to tuck tires but its just barely there lol. I left the front like that to match the rears. They definitely feel better than my model 3 which is on bags. Not much of a difference but i can feel coils are superior. And I never heard about having to match the lugs to the holes, only to bolt pattern. I'm not sure if there would be an issue but I can also be wrong. In my experience with aftermarket wheels, never had an issue with that. So I don't think lug size matters and only bolt pattern. Well technically it matters depending on your cars bolt pitch to have the correct ones to bolt the wheels down. Anyone else could chime in if I'm wrong.
