AP aggressive breaking?

Anyone experiencing this recently? or have I become more obvious that it's always been this bad.

I'm traveling along the 405 freeway bumper to bumper ... the AP is so aggressive it feels like its about to skid the tires.

I check the rear view mirror and I see cars hopping out of the lane. Was AP always this bad? or has it gone progressively worse with each updates?

Mine is the same way on the 5/405. My Model 3 with radar was SO much smoother. My Model Y just about gives me whiplash. Hoping this will be fixed with software, but I've been on 36.5.5 for months now (I elected to hold off on getting the FSD beta as well). Not sure if that would hurt or help. Assuming the "base code" is essentially the same.
