I would not worry about it - while there might be some differences in both hardware and software between the two, majority of the code/features should be portable from one to another. I cannot envision Tesla developing two totally different sets of AP for different models.Also we MS owners are quickly becoming a small minority and the continuous improvement to AP in MS might become slower (unless the M3 and MS AP systems are benefiting equally from the same updates- I'm not a software guy so not sure how that works.)
I also think that there's a lot of work being done without advertising it (hence we don't see it in release notes). We just need to hurry up and wait
