AP1 and traffic lights and roundabouts

My wife says she thinks the car slowed down for some (green) traffic lights today.

At a different time instead of moving off in TACC mode when the car in front entered a roundabout after waiting, her car had put itself in hold mode even though she hadn't pressed the brake.

Could the car be using positional info to do these things? I don't think AP1 was capable?

Not sure about the car seeing' traffic lights but
her car had put itself in hold mode even though she hadn't pressed the brake.
If a pedestrian or cyclist get close to your car which has been stopped under TACC conditions the 'Hold' will activate as the car sees an 'unknown' obstacle and expects input (throttle touch) to proceed.

If AP1 is active and you are stopped (e.g) in traffic lights and car notises movement via ultrasound sensors, it switches to “hold”.

It doesn’t understand anything about traffic lights or roundabouts.

I have AP1, and have noticed in the last few months my car will now slow itself down as it approaches a roundabout. I then switch it off by habit. In the past it did not do that. This is definitely something new.
I'm in rural SW. If its GPS-related, they mapped all of em :D

Mine would happily drive over them!

Maybe it might depend on whether the Chevron sharp bend sign is directly in front of the car. Mine seems to slow up on such bends.
