Hi guys, Just FYI, TeslaFi reports a new version on a model X90D AP2: 17.17.17
Yes I have the same problem. FW is on 17.17.4 but no AP at all. My car is at the SC today to look into the problem. I wish them good luck but I do not have a clue what is wrong.Just back from SC, they said my car still has firmware issue(no AP) after 17.17.4. Anyone else still having AP issue after the update?
It was more than a firmware problem. They did some fixes on my AP ECU, I visited SC 5 times and Finally they get it right.Yes I have the same problem. FW is on 17.17.4 but no AP at all. My car is at the SC today to look into the problem. I wish them good luck but I do not have a clue what is wrong.

At my last couple of visits, they first refused to look deeper into the issue and stated it was still a firmware issue. After I found out 17.17.4 fixed the AP issue, I realized if I don't act tough my issue will not be fixed quickly. Last visit I went straight to their manager and stated the issue. Manager promised me they will give me a X to drive and I can keep it as long as my car get fixed. (Before I never got a X as loaner even my car is X 100D) and next day my car was fixed.Fantastic. What did they have to do?
Hi @miken79 after the DAC ECU module replacement, have you ever noticed this AP not available issue any more ?2 days of AP in all drives. Yay!
hi @FlasherZ , @Tomnook @pox, @coqui33 I have seen lot of posts since 2017 and I am running into similar issues of no autopilot / tacc available along with headlights always on on my recently(July 2018) purchased Model 3 RWD with 600 miles. Were any of you got this fixed? Any fixes that you got for your cars would help resolve mine too. Have an appointment to get this looked in couple of weeks. Looking for any potential solutions from fellow members. Thanks
Thank you for the reply @pox . I am not sure if the Software version is different from the Firmware version in Tesla world. My current software version is 2018.32.2 3817fdd which is probably the latest and I have been having these issues since I got my car (2018.26, 2018.28 now on 2018.32).Mine was fixed with a firmware update.
