AP2 8.1 on radar lock

Hey guys I got the following situation on Model S: 8.1 works great on camera alone, the second I have traffic on intersections and car needs to 'radar lock' in car in front it dangerous veer left or right... if I keep distance from car in front so camera can pick up lane markings its all good - if I use distance '1' so now its relying more on radar... it wobbles to the point it'd hit a side car.

is anyone experiencing this? or maybe my radar is misaligned?

Many drivers are experiencing what's variously called ping ponging, drunk driving, and other epithets when using AutoSteering on local roads. While your symptoms are common, it's not clear to me that your diagnosis of the problem is correct.

In any case, I doubt it's a problem with your radar or any of your hardware; this is the state of the art with AP2 AS.

I get ping pongs on all curves on highways. Local actually works fine. Odd everyone is having issues but they aren't the same...
