App is getting 500 server error. Cant connect.

I’ve had this since the morning (it’s 9:40 pm), they keyfob worked for me all day but I can’t imagine what it’d be like if someone just relies on their phone to use their car. It’s really embarrassing of Tesla to be honest, this isn’t a startup anymore so I don’t see how this could happen

Phone key works without the server. It uses local Bluetooth and doesn't even need internet.

Had to walk over to the car to start charging, as the app wasn't doing it. The app can unlock the car parked in the driveway, from inside my house, though.

Server 500 error came on my iPhone screen just under 2 hours ago while I was installing the latest software update! Update completed but server error message still stays on.

Not for model s or x - they don’t have the phone key feature .. should have saved 60k and bought the model s

I didn’t know that. Huh. S’s and X’s are way out of my league and I just assumed they recognized phones the way my Y does. I guess that’s what I get from assuming.
