So @verdee rated my post “disagree” for what reason?
And now @heinzcatsoup. Care to say what you disagree with?
We’re excited to initially announce that we will be working to upgrade Waze to work with Apple CarPlay, and will be able to share details on roll-out in the coming months.
Yes, this was a terrible decision. I do work for waze as a Senior Beta Tester. So I have contact with the important managers. Many Many folks have complained about this move. It was first described as a GDPR issue, but its possible I can convince them to change this decision. The crappy news is that waze just dropped all “friend” functionality other that FaceBook friends. Blows completely!!
Man I really hope you can, Spud. I REALLY hope you can.
Guess Car Play will not work with Tesla OS
What do you mean? Car Play doesn't work with Tesla OS because Tesla has chosen not to support it.
Don’t worry, we’ll soon be able to play Atari games in our vehicles to make up for it. SOOOO much more useful than CarPlay/Android Auto
I rented a car with CarPlay recently and loved the voice driven text messaging system. One way or another I'd like to have that functionality in my Teslas. I'm personally fine with all other aspects of the Tesla infotainment system.
With Apple market share shrinking, I don't care as now understand why, and I am never going back to that golden cafe prison.
Also; I don't care about Android car anymore, what feature exactly do you miss ?
(Except playing video while driving)?
Don’t abandon hope! Lately it’s been working for me again.TeslaWaze is useless now due to the dysfunctional browser
