...says respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who in a research note seen by MacRumoursclaims that the Apple Car will arrive in "2023-2025" and will be the company's next "star product".

Kuo says he expects Apple's car project, codenamed 'Titan', to revolutionise the motoring industry in the same way the iPhone redefined the mobile industry, claiming "Apple's leading technology advantages" will see the firm do "better integration of hardware, software, and service than current competitors in the consumer electronics sector and potential competitors in the auto sector."

More questions than answers really. Apple certainly have the financial resources to do it, but automotive manufacturing is another matter altogether. I can only assume they will partner somebody. If there's one thing Tesla has taught everybody is just how hard it is to kick off volume auto manufacturing from the ground up. Has to be a fair bet they will focus on city transport too, with some form of interconnected pod type vehicles of possibly a as a dial a ride service though this wouldn't satisfy the Apple fanbois over-priced trinket exclusivity model.

One thing for sure though, everyone, Tesla included, will (or at least ought to) be looking over their shoulder at what Apple does as more than likely they will set the future direction, right or wrong.

I hate the (future) Apple car, it sucks compared to my (future) Samsung Galaxy Car.

The Samsung car will be indistinguishable from the Apple car, even to the Samsung attorneys, who will argue that no copying took place...

In a twist, this time Samsung will sue Apple.

I'm calling it now, there will be no steering wheel, just a touch bar.

The fans are gonna be worse than the Tesla ones...

Last I heard it wouldn't be an Apple car as such, just Apple tech in someone else's car. Exactly what tech isn't clear. Maybe self driving, but holy crap would you trust Apple and their legendarily stable and robust software to drive you around?

Post would have been better without obnoxious trolling.
