You mis-interpreted the OP. He was saying that maybe his Tesla was being included in Apple’s street view image of the street he was driving on at the time he saw the Apple vehicle.

I drove by an Apple maps van a few months ago. I’ve been periodically looking on the maps app to see if I appear. I’m surprised it takes so long to update the data.
