April 2022 Model Y Order - Expected Delivery time UK

Hey Guys,

Sorry super new to this. We ordered our Model Y LR last week. Annoyingly the week before we ordered, the expected delivery time on the website was showing July for our Spec but when we went to order in the showroom the following week it had a changed to Sep. I logged onto our account today and it is now saying Expected delivery 11th June to 30th June. How accurate is this as thats quite a big jump from Sep back up to June! (No complaints though if this is the case!)

Before the Tesla we put an order in for another car last July and the company decided to cancel our order couple of weeks ago hence the Tesla purchase! As you can imagine after waiting almost a year with no car at the end of it, I would love to know how Tesla have been with delivery timescales etc.

I ordered mine on the 30th of March. Called Tesla today and they mentioned that March orders will be delivered between July and August. Apparently, all the Vins for June have already been assigned. Guess its more wait time!

I am the same. Getting mine through work and order start of April. I am getting the same information from them so thats encouraging.

My MYLR, Gemini, White with Black interior was ordered on 2nd April. Received a text on 6th April reg: the DD 17-May to 14 June. But this changed in 1st week of May to 18-Jun to 30 June.

Today, the DD got pushed to July

I’ve called up again today and am still been told mid to end of June. My colleague who ordered the day before me has just had his VIN number and date for the 13th of June so fingers crossed

Ordered MY early April. Delivery was originally estimated for June, then moved to July then back to June, then back to July and now today it has changed and been pushed back to 28 Aug - 12 Oct!!!!!

Ordered back in March but had no VIN or any communication from tesla at all, just keep getting told end of June but I have a feeling that we should of known by now if it was the end June so I'm guessing it's not going to be. Could anyone shed some light on the process? Is it definitely 4 weeks before you know?

I spoke to someone not long ago and he said usually you receive a vin 20 to 25 days before delivery.
