Saw on another forum that the P-AWD version is going to be available for configuration starting today.

0-60 in 2.8 seconds, and 400 mile range due to improve battery chemistry.

Of course they chose April 1st to make this announcement.

I would be ordering one, but I can't configure yet.

I ordered mine immediately as I also noticed that my configuration opened up surprisingly today. I got a call right away and they want me to pick up next weekend! I’ve ordered signature red with cream interior, 20” wheels (great new look), EAP, PUP/Sport seats (also new), air suspension and all for $60k!

I didn't see that in the announcement. You must have found another source for more information.

It was in another announcement - the one where Elon said that Tesla had unintentionally crossed 200,000 US deliveries yesterday due to a bug in their inventory management software. Apparently they miscalculated the number of S and X deliveries last year and over delivered Model 3s this quarter so now the full tax credit expires at the end of June. They released the P-AWD to make up for this error and promised OTA updates would fix things soon.
