Are 330 panels better than 325?

Tesla quoted me for 19 x SC325 panels. After the installation Tesla left a voice mail that they would need to resubmit my design to the City because the installers used 330 panels.

I'm assuming these are Panasonic HIT 330 panels. Does anyone know if they are better than SC325? Thanks.

My understanding of most panel manufacturing is that the cells are tested and binned. The more efficient cells go into the higher wattage panels. So yes, they are probably better.

Not enough to make a noticeable difference. In the end, it's $ per watt.

I had three different panels used in my config, by the time it was done, and they are all the same except for watts/panel. Ended up with 310 and one fewer panel to comply with the final 'maximum production'. Started with 330, then 320, ended with 310. It's all roof real estate and panel production and what your total production needs to be. I'd love to have 50 330's but the utility had other ideas.

Here are the specs for SC325 and SC320; anyone has the specs for SC330s for comparison? Panasonic HIT N330 has 19.7 % module efficiency vs 19.4% for SC325
