Are Canadians still getting Model 3s right now?

My delivery date showed up on my Tesla account today. Delivery April 17 in Montreal. I ordered my Model 3, Long Range, RWD, Red/Black, Aero on March 19th. No VIN yet though.

The date in account is a placeholder it doesn't mean anything. It's the VIN that matters I had dates from March 7th and changes delayed a week at a time now mine says April 17th yet I have no VIN.
Hopefully they will be sending us some model 3s soon but don't go purely by date in account, best to call and confirm before anything.

Icenick, I take your point about the date maybe being a placeholder. However, looking at the recent posts on this thread, I have some hope that my car will be delivered around that date or perhaps a little later. I don’t want to jinx myself, but another forum poster (lukex4) who had ordered basically the same car as mine (model, color, rwd, aero) with the only difference being that he also as FSD indicated that he has been informed of an April 12 delivery in Montreal and he has his VIN.

Who is your delivery specialist? I'm curious about that too but expect and recieved are two different things all together.
I was told they were planning to send some cars out east by mid April which puts the timeline early May.

Well that's even more wierd, my specialist is Alyssia also. She emailed me this morning saying she has not seen Long Range since March and does not expect until early May.

Ordered end of January but asked to receive after March 10th so technically just been waiting for a month So Montreal store is definitely expecting some model 3s to arrive in the next few weeks.

When I applied for financing (March 30 I think?) - I got approved for RBC 96 months @ 4.25%. I emailed [email protected] with my order # and asked if I was able to get it switched to Scotiabank as I do all of my banking with Scotia. They replied the rates were the same, and switched me over. Right away it showed as "Scotiabank" as the lender in my account.

Passed this info and email to a friend with an SR+ pending delivery in the next week or two. Apparently was able to switch to 3.52% 72 months with Scotia. Would recommend those with pending deliveries do the same if the Scotia rate is cheaper, thanks for the tips everyone!

An update to my earlier post. Based on seeing the above in my Tesla account, I emailed my delivery agent (Toronto based) with a few questions. She gave me my VIN (a 2019 build) and the delivery will now be at my home in Ottawa (Kanata) rather than me picking up the car in Montreal. I don't have an update on an exact delivery date.

Just got a call from Tesla. Originally the guy said the car was in transit but then corrected himself and said it was already onsite and awaiting inspection. Hoping to pick it up on Thursday. A week earlier than the originally delivery appointment.

Just seen a date of April 20,2019 appear in my account page. No vin though. Received an e-mail more that a week ago from Zoe Charles Who s tittle is delivery experience specialist. She then said that no car was assigned to me. Looks like that things might be moving for Montreal

Yeah I know someone else getting a home delivery in Ottawa soon. This also explains the truck full of TM3s I saw on the 416 heading to Ottawa a few weeks back - I was a bit baffled at the time.

FYI ordered a demo 2018 Performance Model 3 in Vancouver on the 16th. Found out it was in Seattle and my theory is they lost it as they could not deliver it by end of March as asked. Got matched to a brand new 2019 Performance Model 3 instead same price take delivery 23rd when I'm back from vacation
