Are Floor Mats Included for the Model Y?

Yup- it comes with carpet mats; I lived with them from June to Sept (I'm in the NY Metro Area) and they were... Fine... Just Fine but really a magnet to all loose things like leaves, grass, etc on your feet and then it is really hard to vacuum them off. Labor day I got nicely fitted rubber ones because I'll need it in the winter anyway, but after using the new ones (and cleaning the new ones),I would bet I won't be putting the original ones back on in the spring.

Moral to the story- YES it comes with them but if you want the floor to be clean you'll need to replace them with something easier to clean.

Thank you all for the confirmation. I’ve order close to $1k worth of accessories. So, it’s good to know I can postpone getting floor mats for a few months and decide later to get different ones.

HA! Welcome to the Tesla Wait Club- where you buy stuff waiting for your Tesla! Been there when I preordered my MY. Charger, screen protector, SSD Drive, and I got a floor mat for the trunk.

Oh and one more thing that is very important since you look like you're from a state with a front license plate- I got the quick bandit license plate holder. You can bring it to the store when you pick up your car and put the plate on before you leave (and don't forget to tell your specialist NOT to mount the front plate). I actually bought a $20 system to connect to the front grill- but the truth is it was blocking the grill too much so I decided to upgrade to the bandit. I like the bandit, however I didn't think it was tight enough even with the security screw ,so I have a black zip tie keeping it locked too.

Enjoy your new Tesla!

I did NOT like the floor mats that came with Tesla. They get dirty so easily, especially if it rains in your area.

After reading various posts on floor mats for Model Y, I got
My reasoning was that MAXpider seemed to be of better quality but more expensive the Tesmanian mats. I am very happy with my decision.
The Maxpider ones really fit the contour well and do not look cheap. As for the Tesmanian trunk mat, it is of good quality but more plastic-like and I had to adjust it couple times for the trunk to close properly. Now that the trunk closes though, it will protect the surface just fine. So I am glad I did not spend more money getting the matching Maxpider mat for the trunk.

I agree with you @MJGolf on Quick Bandit. Front license plate is required in Washington also and I found the Quick Bandit mount to be super easy to install, secure (using the optional lock screw) and not damaging (not relying on the grills to stay up).

Mats were included in my LR Y received about 3 weeks ago. The stock mats aren't that bad. The velcroey stuff on the back sticks well unlike my wife's 5 yr old S where the mats quickly became a driving hazard.

But after seeing and feeling the MAXpider mats from Teslarati in my wife's S, I bought some for the Y. The mats are all weather and have a wonderful cushy but not to cushy feel on your feet. And they fit perfectly.

They look good - are they rubber and can the "3D" badge be removed? Thanks,

The 3D label is signature and since it’s a high quality product it’s becoming a show off item. People however have done creative ways to cover if if they don’t like it. Some people put vinyl stickers over and some attempted removing it. End result is not good though. There are more benefits in having it that can cap the logo. Very easy to clean and good coverage but honestly I feel more of a luxury on carpet. Sadly it collects leaves so I ordered maxpider instead!
