Any one else have this alignment issue? Seems like taking the front bumper off is isn't too difficult.

Is this something that may qualify for scheduled maintenance? Only had the car 3 months.

Thanks

Mine is similar (perhaps not as severe) and on the same passenger's side. Driver's side is mint. Oct-2018 build.

Decided to leave it alone after hearing and seeing too many SC horror stories.

Perhaps will revist on my own in a few years once warranty is up.

It looks like that the right light need to be recentered correctly.

I don't this this will be too difficult to get it done, but I think the frunk cover need to be removed, not the front bumper but I might be wrong.

See the following video at 3:47 What's Under The Model 3's Frunk & How To Take It Apart

Hey OP did this get resolved at a service center? My headlight looks identical to yours, wanted to know if they were able to correct it.

May bumper also sticks out a bit. This all might have happened when I had the homelink installed

I have the same issue just on the drivers side. I have an appointment on May 13th and I hope they cover it and don’t screw up anything else.

I hope you have better luck than I did. I took it to a SC the other day and after a few hours they said they couldn’t fix it and it was “within spec”. I don’t think they even tried to align them.

I also looked at a few other M3’s in their lot and a fair amount of them had the same issue.

Yep, mine (Aug 2019 purchase) were the same and the St. Louis SC said mine was within specs as well and that they wasn't even going to try and make them look a little better. I also looked at others in their sales lot and about half looked like mine and others were better seated within the headlight housing fixture.

Mine is Sept 2019 so probably the same batch of cars from the factory. I think the service centers are being directed to tell customers that these issue are “within spec” or “part of the design of the car”. Not a very satisfying response.
