I have been daft enough to catch a gatepost while reversing and caught the mirror on the RH side door. It looks like the underside chrome/plastic is split and will need replacing. The body coloured cover is also a little scratched but I can live with that for the time being. The pic below is from underneath looking up (I know its filthy - its on the list).
A quick look around on here and elsewhere would lead me to believe I'm not going to be able to buy the part I need from Tesla, as another poster suggested they wanted him to buy a complete mirror for £800 plus vat, plus fitting.
An cheaper alternative is to buy a used mirror from a breaker and just remove/refit the part I need, hence the question - my car is a 2015 so I just wondered if anyone knows if the mirrors are identical on facelift cars if I come across one available from a later car than mine?
