Are there any radar detector mounts for the Model Y?

As a temporary solution, I just used the OEM mount and purchased a longer 11 ft power cord. Tucked the wire into the panels (easy since the power cord wire is flat) and ran it into the 12V outlet in the center console.

Ran into a couple issues/concerns. First, I'm concerned that the OEM mount may fall off, although it's been adhering ok the past few days. Second, I don't think the 12V outlet cuts off power when sentry mode is on (turns off when the car is in my garage and enters deep sleep mode).

I've been using a universal mount from Amazon on my Y and zero issues with it so far.

There are cheaper versions available, but this is the one I went with.

This one got some bad reviews claiming it rattles and moves instead of being sturdy.

Also, I don't want to cut with a dremel. Anyone try this one?

And thinking about this below for a mirror tap.

I used the Amazon “Radar Mount” brand one in my previous car for several months and it was pretty solid and fine. It can be tricky and rough on the fingers to tighten all the bolts down HARD. But if it’s not solid, loosen them all up, realign the shaft pieces and tighten again. Will be trying it on my Y when it comes.

Looking to mount my Uniden R3, but blendmount only has Model 3 mounts. Does anyone know where I can find Model Y mounts? I would be fine with buying a different radar detector if there's a specific mount that fits behind the rearview mirror.

I can't use suction cups because it gets too cold and the radar detector falls off.
Did you ever get your R3 installed? I’ve got an R3 and a MYP incoming and I would like to get it installed ASAP.

The model Y has a lighter receptacle in the center compartment..
I hardwired my V1G2 from the cig lighter (see last 2 pictures). Then I bought a Blendmount BV1-2122 compatible with Jaguar, Accura, Porsche. I think this is the thinnest one they have on that area where it mounts to the stem. I picked the thinnest one then milled that area to make it more thinner. I then made the mounting hole bigger to fit the rearview mirror stem (see pictures). I don’t have to dremmel my Model Y rearview mirror cover/trim.

Installed my 9500ix on my MYP22 using:
Radar Mount Mirror Mount Bracket for Escort Radar Detectors - Escort 9500ix, 8500x50, Solo S3, Redline (3001001) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0063N7OZ2/

And:
Escort Direct Wire Power Cord for Radar and Laser Detectors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0003NN83U/

Connected/tapped in to power at the passenger footwell per instructions on this thread.
RD powers on upon touching the break pedal on entry and off upon exit.

Did have to do a small trim to the mirror plastic trim.

Very happy with the outcome.

I bought that same mount back in 2013!! Its held up in my Mazda for the last 9 years, and was hoping I'd be able to transfer it when I get my Y. Can you take a picture from a little further back? It seems like it sits quite low compared to almost flush against the bottom of my mirror now.

Are you still running the 9500ix in your MYP22? Any issues with it?

Have been thinking about upgrading to a MAX360C (seems sold out everywhere) so running the 9500ix for now... but it seems to detect laser nonstop at night. Don't recall it happening in my previous car... either something with the MYP headlights? Or maybe my unit went bad... =/

I’ve been running the Porsche Panamera blendmount for my V1 Gen 2 successfully in my ‘22 MYP for a few months now. I’m glad to see that Blendmount is actually re-releasing mounts specified for this platform
