would other owners mind telling me if they are also seeing these issue and if they are worth another appointment to fix or if they're going to be called "within spec"?

If these issues are bothering you enough that you're taking photos of them and posting to a forum, I'd say it's worth visit after visit until they are fixed to your satisfaction.

My understanding is that the tears in the door seals are actually deliberate cuts to allow air out as the seals are compressed when the doors are closed.

Hope so because I'm pretty sure I have the same small tears as well.

They are deliberate cuts. Called mobile service for the same issue. He stated that they are in fact supposed to be there.

It's not nearly as bad, but most builds have something you can find wrong with it.
