First picture is between driver door and passenger door. The other 2 are the roof. Do these look normal? Iv heard fixing some panel gaps can create others? Wanted to get your opinions
I have the same driver side back panel gap. See this post: Can Tesla mobile service fix this panel gap?. It wouldn’t bother me if it was the same on both sides - but the other side looks perfect.
Mobile service told me it was within spec, but I could ask nicely at the service center. I have an appointment in a few days to have them look at the gap and also see about another scratch in the trim.
That back panel (pic 2) is normal. The trailing panel is slightly narrower than the leading panel, so it’ll be “misaligned” one way or another. The vast majority of Teslas have the same situation. Pic 1 looks perfect to my eyes.
I worry more about alignment and evenness than the absolute width of the gap. Thinks like the door or hood not closing evenly with the rest of the body. I have no idea what 'spec' is for Tesla but those pics look pretty good to me.
