Are touchscreen glitches normal/expected in cold weather?

As I'm just now going through my first cold season with my 2016.5 Model S, I've started noticing glitches on the touchscreen especially when I first drive it in the morning. Sometimes there are a bunch of random horizontal lines on the screen for a few seconds, when the back-up camera turns on there's a red rectangle that flashes in one corner, stuff like that. I'm assuming it's because of the cold weather. Is that expected behavior or should I schedule a service visit to get it checked out?
