Yes, very much! Also, see the following topics: * Conversion Tesla Adapter to Mennekes socket * EV-Box Mennekes to CEE (60309) Group Buy * charging options going from Switzerland to Sweden All dutch charging stations have the three-phase Mennekes connector with at least 3x16A, so please Tesla, get this connector out!
Yes we are all (I hope) screaming for this. I have not even picked up my new toy yet but already know that I need this jumper cable and probably others too since there seems to be no real standard in Europe yet........
come on EU roadster owners you should really vote on this! to make tesla understand the real need. I know we are at least about 510 of as at this point so get voting!

are there really only 15 people in Europe that are interested in this? or are we only 15 Europeans that come to these forums? that I suppose is possible......... and this is obviously why tesla rarely listens to us.........! understandable, we represent not even 3% of the EU roadster population........ :-(
Well, there are, what, five British owners who post here? Maybe ten Germans? So I'd guess we see 10% of owners here. Thus I guess you can multiply the above demand by ten. By the way, I spotted one in the wild yesterday. A Mennekes charging post that is, not an owner.
I am really interested, in the Netherlands the public charging points are being converted to Mennekes points this year.
Has everyone who posted on this thread also voted in the poll? It's not enough just to say "me too" - make your vote count!
The charging points in Amsterdam from "Amsterdam Electric" ? The chargers from E-Laad already have a Mennekes connector.
Would a pigtail for the UMC, limited to 40A, be acceptable? Or do you prefer a pass through cable that could handle 70A?
I suspect a 70A pass through cable would weigh less and cost less than UMC+pigtail. I'd rather just dump the UMC assuming Tesla upgrade the car to J1772.
A pigtail might be a good option for those who already have a UMC, but they should really just make a through cable. If they don't offer it, you might be better off just converting an HPC.
I'd love to have such a cable. I got my roadster last friday and I am really baffled that I could not use any public charging station. If I had such a cable the first thing is to return my UMC cable. This takes far too much space anyway.
