are you one of the folks that don't/didn't receive the model x email update(s)

same here so i used the contact page on the teslamotors site: http://www.teslamotors.com/en_CA/contact

and sent a little blurb asking them why i don't receive updates from tesla since i have the "send me updates" box checked in my profile

anyway tonight i received a call from the nearest store/service centre, (vancouver since there isn't one in my home city yet), and the product specialist forwarded me the email and assured me i would receive continuing updates from tesla

yet again tesla continues to impress ..... i would suggest you do the same as it sounds like they will get you on the updates list as well

now had i have been thinking i would have asked him to send me a complimentary loaner model s until the x shows up sometime the end of next year - pretty sure they would ??? !!! i'll have to give them a call ....

I didn't receive mine either. I never received the model D email either but figured it had a limited audience. I sent a message through the contact page and they forwarded me the email. Even though I asked them to check why I didn't get the email even though there are two different email addresses on my account page, I received no answer other than the forwarded email. I appreciated the reply and assume they checked their list for next time. We'll see.

I would not expect TESLA to resolve the check box problem in your dashboard....... I have noticed that they sadly have as bad internal communications as they do external........ As you can see in my signature I am a lucky person and have a TESLA or two... even this being the case I never get the announcement e-mails although I have told them that my check box is checked and they should send me the info... also even more rediculus is that they are calling me about once a week since the D reveal and asking if I would be intersetd first it was in ordering a TESLA... I already had!? then in winter tires for my new TESLA...... I already have for the one I am replacing. then if I would want to have my garage readied for my new arrival?? it seems that they have NO IDEA of or never have glanced at their customers dashboard pages on the TESLA site....!???!?? In the end I feel sorry for these pour sales girls and guys calling their customer without actually having a clue of whom they are calling.... a new potential cutstumer, new customer, existing customer or a long standing TESLA fanatic...... they should make sure that their sales people are asking the right questions and selling something the potential buyer needs and wants. considering they already have 95% of all the necessary info in their database they call the dashboard.......... the ONLY thing for my Teslas that I have not bought or had installed by tesla themselves is a center consol from Teslaccesories.

love my cars though so still have oversight with these TEETHING problems...........

My experience is Tesla will not get this fixed. I have been trying for 9 months now contacting them 5 times (twice went into local showroom to resolve). The other times I went through the web site customer support. Last email I sent after the D reveal was never responded to. The show room told me everything was correct and in their system and I should not have an issue with it anymore!
I have explained my concern with them not being able to send me an email when my Model X is ready to be built, I’ll miss the window and get further delayed past the 2 years I will have already waited!
I’m also an investor in Tesla and as a reservation holder I would expect to receive the same updates on the progress of the X as the other reservation holder are getting. Right now the only way for me to know about my Model X progress is from this third party website….THANK YOU!
I’m finding that Tesla is not the Customer Orientated Company they portray in the media. This time I have asked they call me as I’m now considering canceling my reservation and selling the stock. This is too bad since I had a great run with the stock the last few years….it would have been fitting to hand them back my profit for a Model X! They don’t seem to want it?
Good luck to the rest of you!

New (old) communications chief to the rescue! Ricardo Reyes Rejoins Tesla As Communications Chief, Leaving Square - Businessweek

I did finally get a call from Ian at TM in Palo Alto, CA to resolve my issue of not receiving email updates from Tesla. I was told back in June I responded to a Tesla email for a Model S test drive, which I did. He said my reply to take a test drive was sent with the "unsubscribe me" also selected at this time? I would have not unregistered knowingly so I'm not sure if it was an issue on their end or I mistakenly selected unsubscribe box (maybe it was already selected).

This does make sense as far as time-line to when I stopped receiving communication from Tesla! Maybe this was the same situation others have experienced with this test drive email? Anyway it took Ian 10 minuets to resolve this and call me back with a solution...which was to reply to his email saying I would like to resubscribe to the email updates.
