Artega SE Electric Coupe: 2011 Geneva Motor Show
If they play their cards right, this could be the sports EV that takes over the mantle from the Roadster next year.
Was thinking the same thing myself...
Range: around 200 (124 miles) - 300km (186 miles on NEDC cycle)
Price: ~180.000 Euro
Battery: 37kWh, 350V
Min. Charging Time: 90 mins (thats approx. [email protected])
This car looks very similar to the roadster, although the range and price isn't.
Any word on performance?
Artega SE Electric
Also says later...
Higher max speed than the Roadster, slower acceleration, less range, and according to the piece below costs a lot more money:

Seems like generally it falls short of what the Roadster has to offer, in what ways does it take over the mantle? (okay, since it has a real roof, for sure it will drive QUIETER than the Roadster!)
Be kinda tough to beat a Lotus built handeler.
the Henrik Fisker-designed Artega GT
Man, this guy is gooood.
Well, when the Roadster goes out of production...
Oh, right! I've been so happy driving my car this past couple of weeks that I totally forgot it's going out of production soon! The Artega really does look gorgeous, reminds me of a Porsche but more futuristic looking.
By the way, the ICE version has been around for years...
Artega GT - german sportscar - Top Speed
Did not see it on the Top Gear Power Laps
At the Geneve Automobil Salon, March 2011.
How so? Doyuble the price, poorer performance/range?
*edit* others beat me to it.
Not playing them right then...
haha not at all (IMO). Though BMW's "green" super car is supposed to retail for about the same (200k) and it's also pretty disappointing (though the MPG rating is pretty high). Dunno what these companies are thinking
I hate to say it but I do think it looks nicer than my Roadster. That being said, I prefer the Roadster value and can't complain
Wonder if the EV has a back seat...
