I wrapped my nose cone w/ matt grey film. Too much black shinny plastic for me.
Received my P85 black on black TODAY!
Let the "mods" begin...

I remember just a few years ago people were wanting and ordering the European clear lens covers for BMW's to replace the amber ones in the US? Has amber come back in vogue or am I missing something?
. I like this oneI think you are asking what I just did a quick version of:smile:
bit of a hack job but...
Would make more sense but also looks a bit dated somehow...
Dental floss. Or have the panel wrapped, and the installer will do it as part of the process. What is the best way to safely de-badge the rear? Are the letters held on with adhesive or some how held in place with something that is like a pressure switch through the metal?
Yes Dental floss and a heat source, Hair dryer, pre-heat to loosen the glue, than with dental floss separate from the paint. Remove remaining glue with mild solvent or hot water...Dental floss. Or have the panel wrapped, and the installer will do it as part of the process.

Is this a good idea if first responders are looking for badging to identify an EV? Without the badges they might think it's a Jaguar XF and start cutting into the floor.
Seriously I was not being funny. And nor I take it are you?
I simply cannot tell. And I sent copies to a couple of friends of mine asking them. I find Tesla colors are just too ambiguous, too subtle, dark. Not complaining just observing. I know mine is black but others I simply cannot tell.
The 21" rims are only 8.5's which is the main issue. For example a new Porsche 911 C4S rear wheels are 10's ! Wider the rin wider the tire. But due to the air suspension any wider would rub the wheel fenders when "Low height" is selected
So 245's are the widest for an 8.5 rim then?
