Auction houses kill Roadsters

This morning, a 2010 Roadster will be crossing the auction block in PA. The car actually belongs to Tesla (trade-in?), most belong to insurance companies who have settled with the original owners.

It came in November of last year showing 71 miles range, alive and runs and drives status. It sat uncharged since then. The title just cleared earlier this month and now the car is dead, bricked. The Auction House sent it to a Tesla Service Center, and they confirmed it is now is bricked and has two bad sheets.

We hear this same story 100% of the time at auction houses. They are notorious for killing Roadsters, and all our pleas to keep them plugged in go unheeded.

Worse yet, some of these cars are being sold as "Runs and Drives", which of course is a complete misrepresentation of the cars status by the time it is released from title jail, and sold to some unsuspecting buyer ready to drive it home.
