OT... But I don't stray down that side of the isle. Propaganda makes my ears bleed.

Apparently Production cars don't get Slacker. Im thinking of buying it to try it out. You have to buy premium.

It's there, but you can't login. My DS suggested it may be pushed out later, but it may just be complimentary to the Sigs...not sure yet, but mine hasn't been pushed out.

Looks like the Tesla provided (w/ Tech package?) slacker account is for "Radio Plus".
Has any one tried the "Premium radio" in the Model S? Did caching work, i doubt it but figured I'd ask.

I'm loving the slacker as well. Interestingly, I had full XM service for the first week. Sadly, it disappeared...

Hmmm Rich105 is R and he has slacker working I believe. Is it just Ps that don't get it?

Perhaps it comes with the Sound Studio? Or perhaps Tech Package?

They probably forgot to include it but it should be free for a year I believe. E-mail your DS and mention you didn't get your login information.

I just started using it today when I was trying out the voice command. Seems nice. I had been paying for Pandora on my iPhone so had been using that. Think it could be a replacement for that though. Seems to have a lot on it.

My wife uses pandora to put the little one to sleep and the commercials always wake him. Figured maybe getting the subscription would be worth it since it would serve double duty.

It's $4 a month on the iPhone so figured it was worth it to avoid the ads.

I bought slacker premium for 10 bucks a month. Enjoyed it. Works pretty darn well!

I went to the slacker website and set up a login. They have not asked for $$ yet. Not sure how long the free is for. I use it with my home system and like it so far.

When you plug in your username and password into the car it will say "Slacker Basic isn't supported"

Nope, I'm an R and don't have Slacker...but my DS said he's going to put through a request for it...not sure if that'll happen or not.
