New 75D! Anyone know if TX-specific registration, taxes, and other processes have been smoothed out?

any quirky hiccups? Treading through TMC leads me to almost expect fitment/manufacturing slight. Probably a bias but tons to look out for

Inspect the paint closely with a critical friend (or disinterested spouse in my case) who will not be looking at their new shiny toy.

I had to renew the temp tags twice before the plates arrived. Your delivery specialist can renew and email you new temp tags.
My wife's new Infiniti's temp tags are about to expire, so I think Texas is just running slow on registrations all around.

My plates arrived exactly the day the temp before tags expired.

I didn't see any paint/gap issues. Nothing compared to closing the garage door on the trunk my second weekend.

There is a very slight bulge on one of the pieces of weather striping that I might have redone when I go in for the annual checkup.
