Auto part between 2 cars or Parralle parking Never work!

I got my x a few days ago. I have never seem the P icon appear so far.I also watched youtube videos a number of times and posts I know how to drive pass the C2 about half. I have test drove in the store and tried auto park in space several times no problem. The P icon on my car just does appear!

I read the manual, it says it will calibrate, it will also show a calibration in process text in the autopark setting. I do not see it.

I called tesla tech support, the rep did not give me any more information that I already know about how to operate.

Any information appreciated!

Have you tried driving a full car's length and line up with C2? I usually do that and it works for me.

Yes. I tried every method in a parking lot. That P just do not appear!

I've noticed a few times that when I put the car in reverse even without the "P" showing up there's times where the auto park option shows up. They told me it can't see lines, it only works between 2 parked cars with a distinct wall or curb as the backstop. Definitely give it s shot even without the "P" and see if you get it to work.
