Auto Pilot $3000 [Update: that is the price for FSD for owners with EAP]

As far as I know I do not have auto pilot on my M3, (I do want it but missed the window to buy last year at discount price) The letter states I can buy FSD for $3000, But my Tesla account page says auto pilot is $3000 and full self drive is additional $6000. What am I missing here?

Sounds like they sent you the wrong letter. That letter should have been sent to owners with Enhanced Auto Pilot.

I also got the email saying I have enhanced auto pilot and I can buy FSD for 3k while I only have regular AP. Tesla's databases must be a complete disaster.

I downgraded my SR+ to SR in the hopes of seeing a future AP deal — hanging onto the cash just in case.

I did the same except SR at purchase. Car still says SR+ on dash display . I'm bummed they're not doing trials anymore with special pricing, but still hoping for Q4 or Q1 specials.


Also is there a way to save state taxes?
