Symbol (steering wheel) says it is able to be activated, but the double stick push to turn on does not. Rebooted car. Still will not engage. Auto speed works. Ideas?

I did wash the car this weekend. Car is spotless. If sensor issue wouldn't the symbol not say AP is able as it sees the lines in road?

Yes it could and DID. I feel like a a$$. I don't use AP a lot, just TACC and had a cranial fart happen. SORRY...
Done that a time or two too.
I'm just glad I didn't end up calling Tesla and bitching. I'm sure they would have said "You ARE pulling the stalk towards you aren't you?". Me. Complete silence, then act like the phone disconnected.

I still get mixed up every time I get a classic loaner and the turn signal/cruise control stalks are reversed.Done that a time or two too.
