heres the deal....70D is about 1 year old. for the first 7-9 months, autopresent worked ok, with the presentation of door handles better when approaching from the front of the vehicle of course. in the past 2 months, they stopped working. the settings do have auto-present selected. we ignored this problem but it is getting annoying now. i have the most updated firmware as far as i know and i have soft reseted the computer many times. i do admit for the past month or so, ive had the low key fob battery warning. i finally changed out the battery this week and the car handle problems still persist. what else can i try? i didnt try changing the second car key fob, which is in the house somewhere that i cant seem to find, but i dont think that would have anything to do with the door handles.

    anything else i should try?

Try disabling and the re-enabling auto present. Just a guess, but easy to try.

Maybe have the service techies remote read your system logs to see if anything shows?

Do you have a cell phone? Do you have a second car with a remote key? If so, did you change where you were keeping the keys and your phone?

If they are too close to the Tesla key if interferes with the Tesla key and causes the handles to not present. Sure, low battery would cause a problem, but I found that when I would put my iphone in the same pocket as my Tesla key, the handles were erratic and would not present half the time. Also when I had my BMW key in the same pocket it also would cause problems with the door handles as well. Ended up keeping my BMW key in one pocket and the Tesla in the other and the iphone in a holster on my belt. Now the handles present 100 percent of the time.

I realize this may not be your problem, but thought it worth mentioning.....
