Auto Steer Easter Egg?

Has anyone else noticed this? I searched auto Steer icon but got no responses.

While driving in AutoPilot (HW v1) mode through mountains today, I noticed for the first time that the Autosteer icon's little steering wheel rotates in sync with the car's steering wheel, tracking it perfectly.

There's no mention in the owners manual about it, no useful purpose for it (after all it is easier to see the actual steering wheel turning), so I guess some code writer must have had an inspiration in the middle of the night and just made it happen.

It's been there a long time. Harder to notice on most roads, since the steering inputs are small.
