Don't really know if this is the correct sub forum for talking about the auto wipers function, but close enough.
There are a lot of complaints on this forum, so I thought I would point out something positive.
When I got my Models S in November the automatic wipers function was completely unusable most of the time. But during the last few months of software updates I've seen a remarkable improvement. They are not yet perfect, but they are now almost at the level of my previous car (Audi A6), and that car had better auto wipers than most other cars I have driven.
From my point of view the sensitivity still needs to be increased. Also, they don't understood that if the car has been off or in park, a very wet windscreen does not mean the sky is falling and that max speed is required.
But all in all I'm very impressed with the improvement. Does anyone else have the same experience?
