Autoexpanding maps gone

You know how the nav maps change size depending on whether you’re on the freeway versus surface streets? Well I seem to have lost that ability.

Now the maps just stay the same size regardless of where I am. I clearly did something wrong, but I don’t know what it is. I’ve tried resetting the direction indicator, and even rebooting the MCU. The maps just stay the same size. Are there any settings that I’m missing to restore that auto expand capability?

Which map settings are you on? Direction Up, North Up, Route?

I noticed that after last update. I dont pay attention unless im in a strange town, it happened yesterday.
I missed a turn because of the scale and slow update. I was in the middle of Daytona.
