Automatic Emergency Braking - very aggressive, almost caused me to be rear-ended

What's your AEB set to? Mines on Late, never had it do that.

I don't believe you can adjust AEB, the adjustment is for collision warning.

I wasn’t replying to the OP.

If it's perfect (don't get me wrong, I love my model 3 stealth) but I have been driving at the speed limit on dry straight flat road (cruise control on) and have had the emergency brake take over and nearly bring me to a complete stop just because of oncoming traffic.

sorry my response was brief, but your interpretation lacks nuance. The general complaint of braking during autopilot isn’t due to EAB. That’s not to say it’s impossible if the circumstances warrant it. I was merely pointing out that that particular complaint wasn’t related to the OP’s complaint. Clear enough?
