Automatic fog lights?

Can the cameras recognise fog?
If so, automatic operation of the front & rear fog lights would be useful
In the meantime, fog lights should be activated by voice command

The cameras are just cameras, they see fog. The radar helps with fog.
We don't get rear fog lights over here in caveman land. It's just as well, really, since those who have cars that do have rear fogs have no clue toward turning the effing things off.
And fog lights don't really do much to help with fog. Better to think of them as cornering lights.

You can't leave them on, at least in our SR+. The car doesn't remember they were on between drives.

In both our old Honda and Hyundai the switch was down low and made it real easy to not see they were on...So I was one of those guys sometimes too...
