I just got my 2015 AP1 a few weeks ago. I sort of remember seeing "P" squares in the instrument cluster when I first drove the car, but haven't seen any lately. Does AP have to be engaged? How do you do that if you generally have to step on the brake to be going <15mph? I'm on 2022.8.10.5, came with the car when I got it. No upgrades done during my ownership so I can't speak for the previous version.
