    Hi guys,

I'm a newb to Tesla as I just took delivery of my Model Y last weekend. Just have the normal Autopilot as standard and was wondering if the manual lane change feature where you use the Indicator is a FSD feature or is this standard with Autopilot?

If it's standard on Autopilot, how do I enable it?

    Thanks

I assumed that you bought the car from the website which says:

    "Autopilot Included
    • Enables your car to steer, accelerate and brake automatically for other vehicles and pedestrians within its lane."
It says "within its lane": That means you can turn on the left and right signals all you want but it only keeps your car "within its lane" and it will never automatically move out of "its lane".

If you want the system to automatically moves out of "its lane" when you manually turn on the turn signal, you need to pay for FSD or hope that Tesla would offer Enhanced Autopilot (for a lower price).

Just wanna add one more thing. If you change lane while you're on Autopilot, it will be turned off and switched to TACC/cruise control.
