Autopilot Blind spot

    Does the current tesla autopilot software work to avoid other cars blind spots? Elon posted a video the other day of a Model S avoiding an accident, but it also appeared that the S was in a location where it was possibly in the other vehicles blind spot.

    No. It does not try to avoid other cars blind spots.

    Would be nice if auto piloted cars could communicate with one another to avoid accidents between one another and other cars. In other words....the more autopilot cars, the larger the car to car communication network would become.....thereby automatically avoiding autopilot accidents.
