Autopilot Calibration Day vs Night

Ok I have a strange question. I’ll be taking my delivery in the evening and by the time I leave the Tesla Delivery center, it will be dark outside. How accurately will the autopilot function work if it is calibrated at night vs during the day?

When you first take delivery of your Tesla, the cameras need to calibrate themselves before AP becomes active. They are not calibrated from the factory.

Oh. That didn't happen with me guys. My car had like 10 miles on it and autopilot worked as soon as I got on the highway.

10 miles is about how long it took my cars' to calibrate. Both of my 3s had 2-4 miles at delivery.

That makes sense I guess. Mine had 4 but they drove it from the service center to the delivery location. It's must've calibrated. I feel like it hugs the right side but maybe it's in my head.
