Even if true, that doesn't change the fact that at absolute best, the AP2.0 car MIGHT be capable of level 3, and honestly I'm not even expecting more than Level 2 (same as AP1.0)
Here we can [almost] agree. I fully expect a working [NHSTA] Level 3. Level 3 isn't supposed to work 100% of the time, and Level 3 can tell the user, with enough notice, to take over. So I don't see why they can't make a working Level 3.
[NHSTA] Level 4? or [SAE] Level 5? I don't think so, not with the current hardware. Now, if they preface it with [sometimes] Level 4/5, then I can see it happening. In perfect conditions, it could act as a Level 4 car. But then it's not a "true" Level 4 car .
