This is the day. Or tomorrow. Well, soon. Even though I know its irrational, I'm waiting for this update and taking my car for a calibration drive as soon as I can. The weather is great in Chicago for once. I want it to calibrate on California-like conditions if possible. This AI might freak out when Chicago returns to norm.

I keep refreshing EV-FW.com and Teslafi.com and nothing.

It really is a little bit annoying how vague Tesla is when it comes to software updates. Why can't they make it a bit more clear on what time the software update happens and what to expect? Should we expect a normal FW software available notification? Are they activating the already installed software (.120)? If so, is there a notification sent out that the software has been updated?

Cheaper processing and data transfer at night would be my guess. Especially if they are using AWS for the servers.

All my updates have come around 10pm CST or after (sometimes 2-3 am). I'm just going to work tonight and even if the update doesn't come, at least I got a lot of work done.

Wonder how they got that info... 45 still better then 35. Anyway, I'll take any sort of AP functions for the moment.

+1 to that, what's more frustrating is that I am still on 52.36, per service folks am eligible to receive 52.120 but neither they nor me are sure when I will get it. Imagine how much longer the active mode would take to land on my car.

Two cars have reported 17.2.12 today, but they are AP1 and no-AP cars. No idea what that version is since it doesn't fit the normal numbering pattern.

If you already had the shadow mode version it might not require an update and you might not get a notice. Maybe you should check the AP screen in your car to see if it has gotten flipped on.

Our Model X with HW 2.0 received software update notification at 6:36 pm PST tonight. This must be it!...oh, and current FW version is 52.120.
