Autopilot: No option to set car-length distance

Yes they replaced it for free. Mine came from factory this way too.

I had thought that pressing right should increase the number, but it actually pushes you closer to the car in front of you, hence lowering the number, and 2 is the lowest (closest). So it seems you and I could push it right, such that it was stuck at the rightmost number, but could not push it left, to increase the follow distance number.

Maybe this has been discussed here but I am not sure where to find it

What is the definition of "car-length" in Tesla software?
Mine is set at 3 which is approx. 10ft between my car and the car in front. If it's true 3 cars length then it should be around 15ft-20ft , which is not in my case

What is your experience?

Not sure if Tesla has defined it but it may be the 2-second rule.
